Description

A savory, crispy potato bake infused with balsamic vinegar and fresh thyme, perfect as a side dish for any meal!


Ingredients

* 5 medium-sized Potatoes (Russet, Yukon Gold, or Red)
* 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar
* 1/4 cup Olive Oil
* 3 cloves Garlic, minced
* Salt and Pepper to taste
* 1-2 sprigs Fresh Thyme (for garnish)
* Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Peel and slice the potatoes thinly using a sharp knife or mandoline.
3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
4. Layer half of the potato slices in the baking dish and drizzle with half of the balsamic mixture.
5. Add the remaining potato slices and pour the remaining mixture over the top.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 20-30 minutes.
7. Once golden and crispy, remove from the oven and serve garnished with fresh thyme and optional cheese.
